On October 8, 2021, Arete Entrepreneurship PBL program held its first off-campus activity. Dean Aaron Wang led the students to the "Dialogue in the dark" to experience the feeling of being in darkness as a visually impaired person. All participants got a blind crutch and were led by a visually impaired person to complete the one-hour experience.
At the end of this experience, the visually impaired person answered the students' questions about visually impaired population and this social enterprise, resulting in an unforgettable dark experience for the teachers and students.
Through this activity, the students felt the daily life of visually impaired people, deepened their understanding of the society, and had a deeper insight into the ways for all sectors of society to help the special population.
