On the night of December 25, the temperature dropped to zero, but the lights flickered and it was warm inside Arete College. With the independent preparation of all Arete students, the Christmas party was successfully held with laughter.

The activity is divided into three parts: games, dinner and performances. The whole process is completed independently by the students.

The program was all amazing, the students formed their own band; teachers also contributed instrumental solo, crosstalk, singing and other programs. The atmosphere was lively and there was much laughter. In the game, students and teachers team up, ended with lots of fun and laughter.

The dinner was purchased and made by students and teachers. The atmosphere was warm and sweet.

Professor Xiao Zhixing, founder of Arete College; Dr. Wang Sheng, executive dean of Arete College; staff and students gathered together to bid farewell to the old year and usher in the new.

In the gift exchange session, the teachers and students exchanged the gifts which was prepared two weeks ago and shared their best wishes.

In the evening program, Professor Xiao Zhixing talked about the meaning of the name of Arete College, which refers to “virtue”,”excellence”, and “edge”. 

Dr. Wang Sheng's song performance "You Raise Me Up" pushed the atmosphere of the party to a climax.

It was a party organized entirely by Arete students. Students are responsible for organizing and planning, selecting products and purchasing, catering, venue layout, performance, game design and gift collection. The Christmas party of Arete College fully demonstrates the creativity and leadership of students.
