On February 27, 2022, the opening ceremony for Arete College's first Preparatory Class was held.

All the preparatory students and their parents, the first-year students, and all the teachers of Arete College are gathered here to celebrate this event.

The ceremony was presided over by Ms. Wang Wanyan of Arete College. The magnificent propaganda video of Arete College "To Future Entrepreneurs" brought spring greetings to all the teachers and students.

Dr. Wang Sheng, executive Dean of Arete College, gave a welcome speech and introduced the development of Arete College. He wished that Arete College can raise more future entrepreneurs with Chinese roots and global vision. 

Professor Anne S. Tsui, former president of American Management Association, sent her best wishes through video, urging Arete students to follow the "CARE" values. 

Professor Michael Agliardo, Dean of Arete Academic Institute and Professor at Santa Clara University also sent his greetings through video.

Zhang Jing, Director of the Centre for Teaching and Student Development at Arete College, introduced the professors and preparatory courses.

On the ceremony, first-year student representatives Zhao Yijia and Jin Zewen spoke in turn.

They shared their experiences of life and study in Arete College and warmly welcomed the new students into the Arete family. 

Preparatory student representative Han Kuanghui expressed his expectations for studying in Arete College as a new student. 

Mr. Fu Hengke(father of new student Fu Beichen)represented for the preparatory student parents and explained his gratitude in sending his child to Arete College. 

Next, students of Arete College's spring preparatory class and their parents intoduced themselves one by one. 

The teachers of Arete College also introduced themselves and welcomed the new students.

At the end of the ceremony, all Arete students, parents, and teachers took group pictures together and drew a perfect ending to the Opening Ceremony.
