On April 20, 2022, the consulting meeting with Juniata College, a partner university of Arete College in the United States, was successfully held online.

Ms. Faye Xiang, the admission consultant of Juniata College in China, hosted the meeting and answered questions from the teachers and students of Arete College. Wang Sheng, executive dean of Arete College, teachers of the college entrance group and students who are interested in applying for Juniata College attended the meeting.

The meeting is divided into two parts: lecture and Q&A. Faye started with the origin of liberal arts education and characteristics of a liberal arts college. Then she introduced Juniata College's geographic location, campus environment, training model, scholarships, and special activities. 

In particular, she mentioned Juniata's interdisciplinary liberal arts education, which integrates courses in the natural sciences, arts, social sciences and humanities to broaden students' thinking and strengthen their general knowledge foundation. It cultivates students' well-rounded development, teaches them to think, learn and communicate. By taking a liberal arts education, students can come to their own realizations, which will guide their academics, life, scientific research and future career.

In addition, Juniata College's educational philosophy believes that only by finding your passion and knowing what kind of person you want to be, can you have a firm direction and move towards your goal.

During the Q&A session, Students from Arete College asked questions about major selection, credit transfer, scholarship application, and overseas exchange programs, and Ms. Faye patiently answered the questions one by one. The students' questions impressed Ms. Faye with their enthusiasm and initiative, and she appreciated the students' ability to think critically. The faculty and students of Arete College also expressed their heartfelt thanks to Faye for her thoughtful response.

The successful holding of the consultation meeting with Juniata College effectively helps the students of Arete College to understand the basic situation of Juniata College, so as to better plan their own steps of studying abroad, and also provides positive and effective reference for the next stage of the work of entering higher education of Arete College.
