Election of Class Committees for First-Year Students and Preparatory Classes

Class committee members are the backbone of the class, the core of team cohesion, and the driving force behind the collective progress of class members.

This year, 5 freshmen and 3 preparatory students have run for class committee positions.  During the class meeting in mid-September, these 8 candidates 

demonstrated their unique qualities and rich experiences.  They not only showcased their individual charisma but also put forward various agendas and commitments for the development of the class.

In a solemn manner, the students selected their preferred candidates through anonymous voting. This served as both a democratic practice and a milestone in class co-building.

Student organizations have been established, emerging like mushrooms after the rain.

Student organizations provide an open stage for Arete students to freely showcase their talents.  Amid the busy schedule of required courses, electives, and distinctive courses, these clubs add to the campus's most enchanting scenery.

The Music Club, Frisbee Club, Board Game Club, and Cultural Society are the timeless classics that have been passed down through generations.  

Meanwhile, the Museum Society, E-sports Club, Archery Club, and Poetry Club represent the emergence of new talents and fresh energy!

From a blank sheet of paper with just the name of the club and the signatures of like-minded individuals, to the budding form of student organizations, every effort is made to recruit new members. The student organizations of Arete hold a promising future ahead!

Arete Unveils the Exclusive 'Board of Directors' 

At Arete, the "Board of Directors" is a distinctive activity within the college that originates from consulting and coaching techniques, allowing all participants to discover their inner potential and cultivate their leadership skills.

This year, the "Board of Directors" for preparatory students has undergone a comprehensive iteration, incorporating enjoyable board games into the educational experience to facilitate self-exploration. Meanwhile, the first-year students' "Board of Directors" continues its heartfelt approach, fostering mutual recognition and support among participating teachers and students, as they discover their inner potential and develop leadership skills.

The Grand Commencement of Arete's Distinctive 'Innovation and Entrepreneurship Course

The "Innovation and Entrepreneurship Course" is a distinctive program at Arete College, designed to cultivate students' practical learning abilities through Project-Based Learning (PBL).  Students are tasked with independently exploring and implementing innovative entrepreneurial projects, including breakfast stalls, art exhibitions, clothing brands, campus open days, and more.

This academic year, the "Innovation and Entrepreneurship Course" has officially begun!  We look forward to the creative ideas and collaborative teamwork of our students, and anticipate witnessing the real outcomes during the final presentation a year from now!
