Over the past two weeks, Arete College had the privilege of hosting admission officers from its North American partner institutions, the University of San Francisco and Juniata College. These representatives personally conducted two successful admission information sessions, providing detailed insights into the unique features and student life at both universities for the class of 2023. They also took the time to answer students' questions and provide guidance.
1. "University of San Francisco Admission Information Session
Last Monday, Erica Delgado, the Director of Transfer Admissions and Campus Engagement from the University of San Francisco, a North American partner institution of Arete College, made a special trip to China. She provided a comprehensive introduction to the University of San Francisco for Arete College students. She highlighted key points about the university, such as its central location in the city of San Francisco and its student body of 6,000 undergraduates and 4,000 graduate students. Despite its substantial student population, the University of San Francisco is committed to maintaining small class sizes, with a student-to-faculty ratio as low as 13:1 and an average class size of 22 students.
At the same time, in the 2022 U.S. News & World Report college rankings, the University of San Francisco was recognized as the most diverse undergraduate institution in the United States. Erica pointed out that if Arete College students choose the University of San Francisco, they not only have the opportunity to experience a miniature global village with students from all over the world but can also find a sense of familiarity among the numerous Chinese students, creating a sense of home away from home.
The University of San Francisco not only boasts unique advantages in terms of its location, academic excellence, and support for students' career development but also fosters an environment that encourages students to pursue their passions, promotes a relaxed learning atmosphere, and builds strong teacher-student relationships. It also encourages a global perspective in education. These principles align closely with the core values of Arete College.

Juniata College's International Admissions Director, Ms. Xiang Fen, personally visited the college and left no detail untouched while introducing students to the aspects of life at Juniata College.
Juniata College, founded in 1876, is located in the central part of Pennsylvania, USA. It is not only one of the finest liberal arts colleges in the United States but also recognized by renowned education counselor and former New York Times education columnist Loren Pope as one of the 40 'life-changing colleges
Juniata College is renowned for its academic excellence and commitment to student well-being. As a small and exceptional liberal arts institution, Juniata enrolls over a thousand students, with a primary focus on small class sizes, resulting in a low student-to-faculty ratio of 11:1 and an average class size of only 12 students.
