Starting with one bicycle and eight sewing machines, Bosideng has evolved from a small town to a globally recognized brand, making its mark first in China and then on the international stage. On November 6th, students and faculty from Arete College visited the headquarters of Bosideng in Changshu, a leading player in the global down apparel industry.  

Arete College faculty and students visited the intelligent distribution center of Bosideng. This sprawling center, covering over 400 acres, sees the entire process of handling, sorting, distributing, storing, and counting done entirely by "robots", achieving an automation level close to 90%. Through such a highly automated and intelligent distribution center, Bosideng has innovatively centralized scattered warehouse data, store inventoryinformation, and previously disjointed online inventory data. This marks a pioneering move within the industry, utilizing a unified logistics management system to digitally transform the control of all inventory.

Continuing their journey, the faculty and students of Arete College then visited the "Peak Ascent" Corporate Culture Museum located within the Bosideng headquarters building. It vividly showcases Bosideng's development history, starting from its humble beginnings as a "small workshop" to its current status as a towering symbol of the national brand.

In the afternoon of that day, Ms. Ni Xin, the Executive Dean of the Bosideng Group Human Resources Center, Business School, and Group Business School, led the faculty and female students of Arete College in a training session focused on empowerment.

Enthusiastically engaging in discussions, students from Arete College expressed abundant insights. The college's business visit program has redefined corporate visits into profound study tours, emphasizing substantive learning experiences over superficial observations.
