At this Monday's class meeting, the recruitment seminar for the Arete Commonwealth Direction was successfully held! Brittany, the recruitment lecturer from StudyGroup, came to Arete College and provided students with a detailed introduction to the life of international students in the UK. She also highlighted the distinctive features of the various Arete College UK partner universities.

This Monday, Brittany, the recruitment lecturer from StudyGroup representing overseas universities, visited Arete College. She provided students with a detailed presentation on the distinctive features of the various esteemed Arete College UK partner universities. Furthermore, she shed light on the lifestyle that students can anticipate when studying abroad in the United Kingdom.

Teacher Brittany highlighted the following advantages of studying in the UK:

1. High academic value of the qualifications.

2. Safe studying environment.

3. Shorter academic durations.

4. High visa approval rates.

5. Abundance of UK universities offering a wide range of programs.

6. Legal opportunities for international students to work part-time, and the option to apply for a Post-Study Work (PSW) visa for employment after graduation.

After providing an overview of studying in the UK, Teacher Brittany went on to provide detailed explanations about several Arete College partner universities. This included information about the universities' general characteristics, specific academic programs, and opportunities for further education.

Taking Leeds as an example, this Arete College partner university was founded in the late 19th century. It not only ranks among the top 100 universities globally but is also one of the six "Red Brick Universities" in the UK and a member of the Russell Group of universities. The term "Red Brick Universities" is comparable to China's Project 985 universities, and Leeds holds a position similar to that of Nanjing University in China.

Currently, among the first two batches of Arete College students, there are 5 alumni pursuing their studies at Leeds.

In addition to Leeds, several Arete College students have chosen to pursue their higher education in the UK at institutions such as the University of Sussex, Cardiff University, the University of Warwick, and more.
