Today signifies the culmination of the current semester at Arete College! Prior to embarking upon a delightful winter recess, the institution convened for a conclusive end-of-term assembly and an IDP growth sharing session. Moreover, preceding our brief parting, faculty and students came together to collectively prepare a lavish dumpling feast, indulging in a hearty meal together.

Despite inheriting its legacy as one of Arete's longstanding societies, this year's Music Society core members actually initiated their journey together through a band performance at the school's opening ceremony. Throughout the semester, the Music Society has been actively involved in various major events—Halloween, Christmas, Open Day...

IDP Growth Sharing Session

Every semester, the college hosts an IDP Growth Sharing Session to conduct a comprehensive review of mentoring activities throughout the term.

Following the conclusion of this semester's IDP initiatives, led by Jenny, the coordinator of Arete's IDP Mentor Program, over a dozen students shared their mentoring experiences. While the presentations focused on goal setting and plan implementation, the genuine bonds between mentors and mentees were palpable in their heartfelt narratives.

Professor Xiao Zhixing, the founder of Arete College, graced the institution today, joining faculty and students for an enriching gathering.Following the sharing session, Professor Xiao Zhixing recounted his own life experiences, aiming to inspire students to make pivotal choices and explore diverse possibilities for their future endeavors.He extended his blessings to the students, encouraging them to pursue vocations that align with their passions, strengths, and values, offering both fulfillment and significance. With such aspirations, he emphasized, they would embark on a life of happiness and fortune.
