Arete College adopts the same teaching management system as the main campus of American universities, equipped with teaching support and student management team with operation experience of Chinese and foreign universities, to ensure the high-level operation of daily teaching and student management of Arete College.

Professor Xiao Zhixing, co-founder and chairman of the Academic Committee of Experience Workshop and founder of Arete College, has taught at China Europe International Business School, George Washington University and Peking University. Dr. Xiao received his Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior from INSEAD in 2004. He is one of the founders of the International Chinese Management Research Association (IACMR), the founding President of the Institute of Practice Management (AAMP), and the China Director of the International Practice Management Education (IMPM) initiated by Mintzberg. He served as director of the Founding Program of the General Manager Program and the Management Development Program at China Europe International Business School (CEIBS), Director of the China Institute at George Washington University and Director of the Center for Innovative Leadership at Peking University. Dr. Xiao's research focuses on social capital, social networks, comparative management, and social cognition. His article appears in the Administrative Science Quarterly, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, Management and Organization Review, etc. In addition, he is a columnist for Harvard Business Review (Chinese edition), China Entrepreneur, IT Manager's World and The Economic Observer. His representative works include "Lead with passion", "Why Chinese cannot organize themselves" etc.
